In a Scandinavian decor : 13 villages in the heart of the Jura Mountains, high forests, snow-covered mountain pastures, frozen lakes,  sleighs drawn by dog-packs, glittering powder snow…cross-country skiing paradise !

A must : The Maison Michaud (Michaud House), a museum of life in the mountains. The 'gentiane' distillery at La Chapelle-des-Bois (a real treat). Pains d'épice (spicy bread and the tasty delights of Mouthe (Vuez). The source of the river Doubs. Three restaurants in the mountains.

 

You can't miss them : The polar dog park at Chaux-Neuve with its 54 Greenlanders. Adam's team/crews at Chapelle-des-Bois. Visit the international ski jump site at Chaux-Neuve. The sheepfold at La Chenoz.
